A new opinion poll by the New York Times/CBS News found that Ben Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, is leading the primary field. It’s not a big lead though – it’s with in the poll’s margin of error.

A little more tension in the South China Sea
The Chinese government is huffy about an American Navy ship patrolling the South China Sea. In recent years China has been aggressive about “reclaiming” territory there, and a lot of people, both domestically and internationally, have urged the Obama Administration to do something about it.
The Navy sent a guided missile destroyer to patrol the area. The US government does not recognize those waters as sovereign Chinese territory. China, Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam dispute who owns what in that stretch of sea. Read mas
