Islamists retain control in Turkey
The Islamist party won 49.3% of the popular vote, winning the majority of Parliament and keeping noted asshole Recep Tayyip Erdogan (pronounced Er-doe-juan) as President.
The presidency in Turkey is supposed to be mostly ceremonial. In recent years Erdogan has pushed and grasped for more and more power. And lately Turkey has become more conservatively Islamic. Read mas
E. Coli found in Chipotle food, making it only slightly more unhealthy 
Chipotle closed all its restaurants in two west coast markets after an outbreak of E. Coli. Twenty people have been infected with the bacteria after eating there.
It’s the third health problem Chipotle has been involved in since August. Read mas
Paul Ryan rules out immigration reform
Newly crowned Speaker of the House Paul Ryan said he won’t consider immigration reform while Obama is in office. He promised the “Freedom Caucus” – a group of extremely conservative representatives who use obstructionist tactics and forced out Speaker Boehner – that he wouldn’t touch immigration reform until the next president is in office.
In 2013, a bipartisan group of Senators agreed on reform bill. The House of Representatives refused to take it up. Read mas
